Dear Stephen Harper:
Get off our Airways!
You are the Prime Minister, in case you forgot, you and you alone are the one that can call our next election.
Call it and in six weeks your mug and that of all other federal politicians can
flood the airwaves with "vote for me" messages.
If you don't want to call the election now, fine, but get your useless ads off the airways.
It's sleazy with your appalling Strong Leadership on your Side political ad campaign without Canadian heading to the polls.
If you had strong leadership you'd call the election and have done with it. Instead you
hedge your bets with this silly campaign. The ads are annoying. Most political ads are annoying, The Toronto Tribune would make the same point regardless of your political persuasion.
On the Conservatives website people can pre-order their garden signs. We don't object to that to learn about these things one needs to visit the website. It's the in your face ads coupled with a toenail in the water approach
to the election that makes you look like an indecisive fool. Not really a strong selling point on that 'leadership' bologna you're trying to flog. No sale!
Show some leadership, either pull the ads or call a campaign.
With our kindest regards,
The Toronto Tribune
