Streets to Slums Almost Gets Rewarded!

Later this month Peter Rosenthal, lawyer to Tyendinaga Native Protestor Shawn Brant, will argue to have
all charges against his client stayed because of various violations of his charter rights by OPP officers.
Rosenthal discussed the current status of the ongoing case in an interview with The Toronto Tribune.
Lawrence Square Gets it Wrong:
What is a disabled person to do when all of the handicapped parking spots are taken and walking is a major issue.
Three people, two able bodied, park where they shouldn't. The two who blocked the third got away with it; the poor
joe who had no choice but to park illegally is the one that got the ticket.
At Least they didn't get the Award:
Toronto's Streets to Homes program was in the running for a World Habitat Award. That drew the ire of groups who
work with the homeless and have few if any kind words for the project which is more aptly named: Streets to Slums.
