Dear Readers:
It's great to be back in publication!
In our rehabilitation article your
editor writes about the latest battle to defeat cancer.
Much of this journey is unknown including the ramifications of the loss of mobility to fight this battle.
We made the decision to delay the June and July publications of
International Art Treasures Web Magazine;
our art publication and to eliminate the June 2008 edition of
The Toronto Tribune.
Of all of the goals I have set; getting back to normal is key. Editing these two magazines brings
so much pleasures. One celebrating unappreciated artists; the other bringing awareness to issues
that are overlooked and politicians that selfishly care for themselves rather than the public; the ones
that elected them in the first place. In some ways diverse but one could not exist without the other.
It is art that brings in tourism. Expecting public services to eradicate poverty, fix roads, deliver a direct
high-speed link to the airport won't happen with insufficient tax dollars. That those elected to decide how
to use those dollars, spend them foolishly, significantly increases the problems this city faces.
It is the poorest of the poor that most of all suffer from inadequate and
irresponsible government officials, bureaucrats and politicians.
That will remain our focus to help those who need it most.
With our kindest regards,
The Toronto Tribune
